Access control
Keypads, swipe cards and fobs let the right people in without handing out keys. We install access control for apartment buildings, offices, shops and homes, planned around who needs access and when. We start with a free site inspection and give you one fixed price before any work begins.

Planning access control
A good access control system is easy for the right people and hard for everyone else. These are the things we work through with you first.
Residents, staff, cleaners and contractors may each need different doors at different times. Planning this first decides how the system is set up.
Codes are simple to change. Cards and fobs can be cancelled one at a time when they're lost, without changing everyone else's access.
Access control can sit alongside CCTV and alarm systems, so you can see who came and went and arm the alarm when the last person leaves.
The electric lock or strike has to suit the door and frame. Exit doors must still let people leave quickly in an emergency, so we plan the release side as carefully as the entry.
Changes to common property in apartment buildings need strata approval. We work with the strata manager and building manager on the details.
What we do
Card, fob or keypad entry for lobbies, car park doors and common areas, arranged through the strata manager.
Staff entry with individual codes, cards or fobs, and different access for different areas or times.
Code entry for doors where cards are not practical, with codes that can be changed when staff or tenants change.
Proximity cards and fobs that can be added or cancelled individually.
Faulty readers, keypads and locks checked, and older systems upgraded where the existing cabling can be reused.
Keypad or card entry for homes, granny flats and home offices.

FAQ
Can't see your question? Call us on 0404 846 845.
Are you licensed for access control installation?
Yes. We hold an operative NSW security licence for security installation work, and any electrical work is covered by our electrical contractor licence 150369C.
Can you add access control to an existing door?
Often, yes. It depends on the door, the frame and how the lock can be powered. We check this during the site inspection.
What happens if a card or fob is lost?
It can be cancelled in the system so it no longer opens any door, without changing anyone else's access.
Can access control work with our CCTV or alarm?
Many systems can work together. We'll explain the options for the equipment you have or are planning.
Do you work with strata buildings?
Yes. We work with strata and building managers on approvals, scheduling and access for residents.
How much does access control cost?
It depends on the number of doors, the hardware and how many users need to be set up. We give you one fixed price after a free site inspection.
